How to Disable URL Shortcuts in the New Version of Google Chrome

How to Disable URL Shortcuts in the New Version of Google Chrome

Redesigning the interface in the latest version of Chrome has made the browser more up-to-date and changing some functionality. Among these innovations is the automatic default of the domain name URL to get a more beautiful view. It looks really nice, but not everyone is comfortable. Luckily, you can return everything as easily as it was.

Here's what you need to do to return the full display URL in the address bar.

1. Open a new tab and navigate to it at the following address:
 chrome: // flags / # omnibox-ui-hide-steady-state-url-scheme-and-subdomains

2. Change the URL value for the Omidibox UI and Simple Subdomains to Disabled.

3. Restart your browser by clicking the Restart button now.

This way the URL will always be displayed exactly, not just when the cursor is in the address bar.
